November 2017: All Venue Challenge
Thank you one & all for participating in our second All Venue Challenge. Represented were Cesar Chavez CC, Los Vecinos CC, Manzano Mesa CC, Raymond G Sanchez CC, Sandia Prep, Paradise Hills CC, and Wells Park CC.
Congratulations Cesar Chavez Team Members M’Lee B, Jamie G, Dennis G & Chowdee T for winning the All Venue Trophy! I’m sure Cesar Chavez Community Center will be happy to display it for all to see. See the complete results here.
These Venues participated in this fun tournament to get together & reacquaint ourselves with old friends and meet new players from other venues as well. A little “friendly” competition was the order of the day. There were also those people from different venues who came out to cheer on their friends and we appreciated them coming out as well. It made for an exciting morning.
We also took this opportunity to give some “Real Game” experience to new & newer Referees. Thank you first timers Rich B, Elaine H, Myrna B, John Y, Ken L and Jim C for jumping in to help and learn. Also there to Ref and help were Anthony & John K who helped out & kept everyone in line! You all did a great job and the players were very happy to have you on the Courts! Also a big THANK YOU to Joe & Linda M for coming out to organize and help train the new referees.
Thanks to Gary R for getting us the time to do all this and Dale R & Isabel C for helping me keep things straight at the desk. Looking forward to the next Challenge, Nancy L.

The philosophy of the association is that no age group will be combined with another age group.

April 8-9, 2017 Gunnison Pickleball Fundraiser Tournament
It is that time of year again and we are excited to host the start of the Western Slope Pickleball Tournament Series for 2017.
Click here for the following documents:
Tournament details sheet
Rec Center Release Waiver
Great venues, great players, and great food all make this a really neat pickleball event.
If you missed us last year we hope you will come this year. If you were here last year we really want you back again.
This year is special to us because it is our best chance to raise funds toward the grant for a new 5 outdoor pickleball court complex in Gunnison. We hope to have the courts constructed this summer.
There will be 4 divisions again this year: 3.0 and below, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 and above.
Last year we had great competitiveness in all divisions. Some more 4.5 and above players would add more balance to that division so we hope the 4.5 and up players will return and encourage other players to come as well.
If you have questions please call.
March 18, 2017: Farewell-to-Los-Altos Tournament
