City Updates Facilities and Services under State’s New Public Health Order
Implementing latest changes to limit spread of COVID-19

The City of Albuquerque is preparing to implement the latest changes to the State’s Public Health Order that will take effect on Monday, November 16.
Throughout this round of closings and adjustments, the City will remain focused on ensuring continuity in essential services for the most vulnerable, supporting working families who don’t have the luxury of staying home, and working to keep local businesses afloat.
Beginning Monday, the following changes to City Parks & Recreation facilities and services will be implemented:
The following facilities are closed:
- Balloon Fiesta Park, the BMX Park, City pools, Esperanza Bicycle Safety Education Center, softball fields, City-owned Little League fields, golf courses, the Golf and Event Center, the Shooting Range Park, skate parks, and tennis and pickleball courts.
- The Open Space Visitor Center is closed to the public. All scheduled events are canceled through at least November 30th
